Welcome!

To KentCardinals.com home to the Kent Cardinals - The University of Kent Inline Hockey Team.

About

Inline hockey is one of the fastest and most exciting sports at the University of Kent. The Club was formed in February 2006 by a group of students who had been playing every week at the sports centre since the autumn. Members were recruited by poster and online campaigns, and through the Refreshers Fair in January 2006.  A committee was elected and the club began organising socials alongside their twice-weekly training sessions. The name "Cardinals" was chosen by popular consensus.

Since establishment the team has continued to grow in size and played as many matches as possible throughout the 06/07 season.

During the April of 2007 the Cardinals competed in the British University Inline Hockey Championships in Chester. The team looks forward to competing again in the 2008 championships. The Cardinals will be entering a league and will play regularly throughout the 2007/08 season. We look forward to exciting times with the team playing as much hockey as physically possible.
